Who we are

I’m Amelia, Owner of Stoked Creative.

What is Stoked Creative? Well, let’s start with the definition of ‘Stoked’.

Stoked (adjective); being in an enthusiastic or exhilarated state

My mission is to get your employees or stakeholders stoked on the outcome your business is trying to achieve.  The more stoked people are, the more likely they are to exert discretionary effort to support your business goals.

How we get people stoked depends on the outcome you’re wanting to achieve - are you going through an organizational transition (or change) and need help getting your employees or customers stoked on the new way of doing things? Do you need a strategic communications and engagement plan to get your external stakeholders stoked on what you’re proposing? Or maybe you just want to bring your customers together for an event that gets them stoked on your business?

Whatever it is, I can bring my 10+ years of experience and industry best practices to ignite the stoke you need. As a certified change practitioner (Prosci), with an education in Law and Communications, I’ve worked with community based organizations (like local Arts festivals) to larger corporations (like mining and utilities) developing unique business solutions that drive action and achieve results.

Let's get stoked together.

Amelia

Stoked is an everyday word in my vernacular that I centre my work and attitude around. But it has more meanings than one for me.  Growing up in New Zealand, I was lucky to call Stoke (Nelson) home. Making my way over to Canada almost 14 years ago, I’ve now made a true home in Revelstoke.

The "O" of Stoked is a symbol of community, connection and unity and represents a holistic way of thinking. Connection and community are key components of an effective culture and employee experience. A holistic approach means creating solutions that work for the unique needs of your business, taking into account all the many components that contribute to your point of difference.
